Mr. Gonzalez was born in Monterrey, Mexico.  As a young boy, he moved to Texas and was raised in Mission. 

Mr. Gonzalez graduated from Mission High School in 1991.  He has been employed at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish for the past 10 years.  Mr. Gonzalez maintains the church and school grounds and is a jack of all trades.

Mr. Gonzalez married Martina at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and they have 3 sons:  Guadalupe and Fernando who attend college and Miquel who is a senior in high school.

Mr. Gonzalez enjoys working outside especially planting.  He houses and takes care of “Angel” our parish donkey, when Angel is not busy performing in our parish plays. 

We enjoy having "Julio" around the school where he is well-liked and respected by everyone.
