Mrs. Lisa Marie (Corpus) Loya is a native of the Rio Grande Valley.  She was born in McAllen, Texas and grew up in Mission.  Lisa attended Bryan Elementary, Mission Jr. High and graduated from Mission High School in 1997.  She attended and took courses at STC.

While still in high school, Mrs. Loya volunteered as a CCD teacher at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and later worked as the receptionist/secretary/bookkeeper at the parish office. Mrs. Loya left Guadalupe after she married to become a housewife and a mother (Orlando-Kindergarten).
